整理於這篇 本來對這個問題有點不求甚解 來寫結論吧 不啟動PAE功能的32bit作業系統只能定址到約3.2g 若是啟動PAE可定址到最大64G記憶體 因此32位元Linux、FreeBSD、Solaris、Windows Server 2003/2008 enterprise 可以管理超過4g實體記憶體 至於32bit的xp、vista、W7只能用實體約4g記憶體 是因為微軟把 32bit 作業系統限制在最大4G使用量 所以目前微軟32bit os 只能定到4G ps.XP-SP1因為沒有關閉此功能，預設啟動PAE，可以管理超過4GB以上的實體位址。 結語：非不能，不為也。
